In Monte Bello Medical, we believe that giving back to the community that supported us when we were younger is the best way to be thankful for all the blessings we have received. We are firmly convinced that Las Cruces and its surrounding areas need more quality healthcare and our goal is to provide that as well as give back to the underserved.

I have been able to register to do my National Board Certification on January, just after you funded this project. I have also signed up to be on a payment plan to pay for the rest of the components. Currently I am working on Component 2, which focuses on differentiation. The due date for all my portfolio is due on May 17th, so I will be busy most of April. Also, the binders have allowed me to organize all work for four components. Thank you for helping me pay for registration, without registration I wouldn't have been able to set up a payment plan for the rest or start this journey.

Thank you for this beautiful set of books - Esperanza Rising - in Spanish. We will read this together as a class and another class will read it in English. Students will have access to the same book, but in their first language. Some students will read it in Spanish AND English. That is very powerful tool - only for equal access - but also for students to know that literacy is in all languages and all cultures. I look forward to sharing this novel with all of my students. Thank you so much for your support in funding this project! Thanks to you we were able to get brand new puppets for our classroom! My goal is to make our classroom inclusive and to represent diversity, and you helped make that happen.
My students have enjoyed using the puppets so much! At the end of last semester I had a student hold up a puppet, and said the name of a classmate because the puppet looked like them. During this new school year I've had a student put a puppet on each hand and pretend to have conversation with each other. This particular student is not fully verbal yet, and this was a brand new skill he showed! These puppets are going to help us teach our students communication, to have them more engaged, and to recognize diversity. Thank you for helping to make that happen!
