Drug Testing
Monte Bello Medical offers drug testing services for your employees, performed by our certified medical staff at our convenient location.
All drug and alcohol collections and screenings are done by following 49 CFR Part 40 guidelines.
Regulated
• Urine sample collected to check for Amphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana Metabolites, Opioid Metabolites, and Phencyclidine (PCP)
• Anyone designated in DOT regulations as a “safety-sensitive” employee is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing. A safety-sensitive employee is someone who holds a job that can impact both their own safety and the safety of the public.
Rapid Drug Screen
• Ran in house for immediate results. If anything comes out presumptive positive, the specimen is sent out to lab for confirmation.
• Industries may still require drug tests for pre-employment, but these are considered non-DOT or Non-Regulated.
• Non-regulated drug testing is implemented and managed by each individual employer. The employer determines which testing method is done. They choose a drug testing method that best fits their needs. Most companies today have an established drug testing protocol. They can choose from various drug testing methods like urine, oral fluid, hair test, or a combination, depending on their needs.
Custom Panels (Upon Request)
• If you are needing specific panels to fit your company needs such as anabolic steroids, extended opioids, fentanyl specific, etc. to name a few, they are available upon request.
Hair
• 1.5-inch hair sample of about 200 strands closest to the scalp, or other areas of the body for screening and confirmation
• Drugs in hair may be detectable for approximately 90 days.
Breath Alcohol Tests
• If you are needing specific panels to fit your company needs such as anabolic steroids, extended opioids, fentanyl specific, etc. to name a few, they are available upon request.
Collections
• Compatible to collect via Formfox and Escreen.
• Can keep employer specific Chain of Custody forms in house.
• Supplies are available for various lab collections including but not limited to Medtox, Labcorp, CRL, Quest, Psychemedics, Omega, etc.
