Monte Bello Medical was founded by a group of individuals who share the same vision and goals for the new clinic – providing exceptional quality health care while respecting our patient’s healthcare needs. The leadership team consists of individuals who come with their own unique talents and have roots in Las Cruces or New Mexico.
It is with pleasure that we present the individuals that helped bring together their dreams and ideas to Las Cruces and the surrounding areas:
Dr. Ricardo Rubio
Medical Director/Provider
Dr. Ricardo Rubio is a native from the southwest, born, and raised in El Paso, Texas. He completed his residency here in Las Cruces, specializing in family medicine, and has been serving our local community since 2003. His work experience has given him a comprehensive background in occupational medicine, urgent care, and family practice. He believes that preventive health and healthy life choices are the key parts to living a long joyous and healthier life. Dr. Rubio enjoys the patient diversity this community has to offer given that he is also fluent in Spanish and familiar with our culture. Outside of being at the clinic Dr. Rubio enjoys watching sports, skiing, playing golf, and being with his family.
Manuel Dominguez
Finance, Planning and Interior Design
Manuel Dominguez is an experienced financial services professional with a career spanning 37 years. Over the course of his four-decade-long career, he has held various positions in the banking industry. For the last two decades, he has primarily worked in the home lending sector, both in frontline and management roles. In addition to his banking career, Manuel also pursued higher education, dedicating himself to his studies and eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. Manuel is a New Mexico native, raised in Grant County as the youngest of 11 children. His parents instilled a strong work ethic and the importance of education. All of their children obtained higher education degrees and certificates and have had success in their careers.
Veronica Rodriguez
Accounting
Veronica Rodriguez is a financial accounting and business professional with more than 25 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University and gained business experience working at American Express and L&M Technologies, Inc. Veronica’s parents immigrated from Mexico and instilled in her a strong work ethic and the value of education. She credits a local teacher for pushing her to succeed and complete her degree. Veronica earned her MBA from the University of New Mexico and has volunteered her accounting and business expertise to help small non-profit organizations. She served as treasurer for a non-profit in Athens, Ohio that provided sexual health services, and helped grow its budget from $75,000 to $310,000 by recruiting passionate and driven board members. Currently, Veronica serves as treasurer for another non-profit organization that supports healthcare workers.
Blanca Avalos
Customer Service and Marketing
Blanca Avalos is a Flight Attendant who has worked for a top airline for 23 years. She has been recognized for her excellent customer service and has won the “spirit award”. Having traveled around the world, she feels that experiencing different cultures has made her a better person. She values humanity and humility and is eager to make a difference in the Las Cruces community.
Blanca grew up in El Paso, Texas with parents who encouraged her and her brother to excel. Her father, a former Marine and firefighter had the biggest impact on her life as well her Mother who’s love, drive, and dedication made her the confident and passionate woman she is today. I also attribute my big- hearted spirit through the influence of a wonderful woman with a loving nature who took place in raising me. Blanca was offered a full scholarship to Western New Mexico University where she played volleyball for four years and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science at NMSU. In addition to her career as a Flight Attendant, Blanca is an Actress in which she has been pursuing for the past 15 years. She completed a 3-year full-time program at the William Esper Studio in NYC and has had the opportunity to work opposite actors such as Robin Wright on “House of Cards,” Selma Blair, Tracy Ullman on “A Dirty Shame,” Ken Tigar on “Oil and Vinegar” as well booked the lead on a Feature Film “Shadow of the Monarch.”

April McGeorge

April McGeorge has been in healthcare for over 30 years. She has critical care, ER, intensive care, surgical intensive care, and family practice experience. She has spent the past five years in Knoxville, Tennessee working in Urgent Care and Family Care. She looks forward to providing quality healthcare to the Las Cruces community. She has been married to Brent Green for the past 8 years. They enjoy dining, hiking, and spending time on their farm.
Marilyn Barnes
FNP-BC
Has spent a total of 37 years in nursing, 27 of those years as a family nurse practitioner. She started here in Las Cruces at NMSU where she got her Associate’s in Nursing. She then went on to Delaware State University- Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Biology-PreMed, Wilmington University- Master of Nursing, and is now pursuing her Doctorate’s Degree as a third year student.
Ellen Sanchez
Marketing Manager
Ellen Sanchez has been in the medical field for the past 17 years. She has spent most of those years as a medical coder, administrator, and billing specialist. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the outdoors and traveling when she can. She has taken on a new role here at Monte Bello Medical as a Marketing Manager and is very eager and excited to take on new adventures in her career.
Bianca Norero
Clinic & Marketing Manager
Bianca Norero raised in Silver City, NM but has been in Las Cruces working in the medical field since 2011. She has been a registered respiratory therapist for 7 years. Outside of working at the clinic or at the hospital you can find her spending time with her family and friends. She is happily engaged, has a baby girl, and husky who are the light of her life. She loves to stay active, and doing anything outdoors from camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, etc. you name it!
Jennifer Gonzales
Marketing
Jennifer Born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. She has worked over 16 years in the medical field. She attended DACC where she received her CNA, phlebotomy, and EKG certification.
In her free time Jennifer helps her husband and his construction company build new residential custom homes. You may also find her out at the baseball field.
She is married and a mother of 4 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren and is excited to be a part of the team here at Monte Bello Medical.
Irma Olivares
Front Desk Manager / MA
Irma, a native of Las Cruces, NM, grew up in the town of Mesilla and attended New Mexico State University. Irma is excited to work with the Las Cruces Community at Monte Bello Medical and is eager to put all her hard learned skills to the test. She started off as a receptionist for the billing department at Memorial Medical Center Hospital and worked her way up learning as much as she could about medical billing and accounts receivables. Working in the healthcare field has taught Irma so much and she loves to assist patients wherever she can because she knows it can be difficult to navigate the world of insurance.
Alma Carbajal

Alma is a native to Las Cruces, and has worked in the medical field for over 20 years where she started as a scheduler for procedures and working as a medical assistant. Working in healthcare has taught her so much. She loves helping patients. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Is a local to Las Cruces and has worked in patient care for 5 years. She has always had a passion for helping others. Destiny is also a licensed esthetician. Outside of work she spends her free time with family and friends.
Rene Rodriguez

Born and raised here in southern New Mexico, I have fallen in love with the area, its culture, and its people. Growing up with a mother who is also a teacher meant that school was always my number one priority. When it came to pursue a college education, my first and only choice was New Mexico State University. I graduated from NMSU with a master’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Now, I look forward to providing quality care to those that choose Monte Bello Medical for their health needs!

Eunice is a Las Cruces Native. She graduated from Las Cruces High School in 2006 and is pursuing her associate's degree in medical assisting. Eunice has 16 years of patient care experience and is the Mother of three children.

Born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Although I am new to the medical field it’s always been in me to help people in any way that I can. I am proud to be a medical assistant making a difference, one patient at a time here at Monte Bello Medical. In my free time I love spending time with my family, especially at the baseball field watching my brother play ball and traveling.

Linette was born and raised in Las Cruces and enjoys spending time with her kids. She has always had a yearning to work in the medical field and is looking forward to the challenges that await her at Monte Bello Medical. Linette enjoys photography and on her spare time she works part time taking photographs for special occasions.
Abigail Salvatierra

My name is Abigail, I was born and raised here in Las Cruces, NM. I graduated from Dona Ana Community College from the Radiology Technology Program in May 2023. Some of my hobbies include spending time with family and friends, camping, hiking, and traveling. I have always enjoyed helping people and I am excited that I get to do that here at Monte Bello.
Crystal Molina
X-Ray Tech
Born and raised here in Las Cruces. She is a proud mother of 3 beautiful daughter. She graduated in 2010 in Radiologic Technology and has been working in the field since. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies included. A few of her hobbies include hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and yoga. Her absolute favorite activity is trail running. She is also a foodie at heart. Give her all the authentic food! Crystal is truly passionate about her patient care and treats everyone single person like family because ultimately our patients are someone else’s loved one. She is very grateful to be a part of the Monte Bello Medical team and excited to see the growth.
