At Monte Bello Medical, you will be a vital member of our patient care team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Examine patients, compile patient medical data and results of examination.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
  • Compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers.
  • Dedicate to exceeding customer and patient expectations.
  • Ensure accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
  • Board Certification
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine
  • FMCSA NRCME is required prior to start date - we provide this CME for colleagues not already certified
  • DEA required prior to start date

JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Customarily has at least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting
  • Attention to detail, sense of urgency, initiative, and flexibility
  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to deal with people in a manner that shows tact and professionalism

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Assistants are the backbone of our clinic and play a big role in our success. We're looking for someone dedicated to providing the best patient care possible with a big emphasis on empathy. As a MA, you will be expected to execute a variety of daily support functions that are critical to providing quality care and ensuring our clinic runs smoothly. The ideal candidate should be totally comfortable demonstrating competency in all skills related to patient care. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
  • Guide patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.

  • Perform POCT based on the patient’s chief complaint and standing protocols for the physician.
  • Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records, keeping patient information confidential.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician via the intramuscular or subcutaneous route.
  • Perform venipuncture blood collections, handle and prepare specimens, and order laboratory analysis.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations or sterile procedures.
  • Disinfect and clean treatment rooms following patient examinations.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required; properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
  • Routinely check faxes, emails, and voicemails throughout the shift.
  • Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests or admission.
  • Operate electrocardiogram (EKG), Audiometer, Spirometer, and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests.
  • Perform various basic vision tests on patients.
  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing after provided training.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Radiologic Technologists will thrive at Monte Bello by providing a full continuum of care. We offer a unique chance to perform above and beyond the average technologist’s duties. Not only will you manage diagnostic x-ray examinations and produce x-ray images for interpretation by licensed practitioners, but you will also get to support and directly perform other routine medical procedures and assist the back-office team. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare patients for X-Ray exams, position patients based on the type of procedure to be performed.
  • Administer routine X-Ray exams as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Review and evaluate developed x-rays and information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of radiologic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position and immobilize patients on examining tables.
  • Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to the specification of the examination.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and reactions, reporting abnormal signs to the physician.
  • Record, process, and maintain patient data or treatment records and prepare reports.
  • Aid in dressing or changing seriously ill, injured, or disabled patients.
  • Disinfect and clean the x-ray room following patient examinations.
  • Keep the x-ray room stocked with adequate medical supplies.
  • Perform any daily calibrations or maintenance.
  • Notify the supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or the facility is not operating as expected.

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Program; Associate degree.
  • Valid and current New Mexico license.
  • Valid and current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Medical Assistant experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods standing, reaching, and bending.
